The experiments shown in Figure 1A were repeated at multiple temperatures between 20 and 50°C. Experiments were analyzed for light scatter intensity displacement (M) (an index of microvesicle release) using Eqs. 1 and 2. Data points were grouped from several similar temperatures and expressed as mean ± SEM in both dimensions (n = 8–15). The data were fit by nonlinear regression using an arbitrary function. The 95% confidence interval of the inflection point was 35.0–42.0.Back to article page
