Retained: functional property of the mutant is similar to that of the WT; temp: the activity of the mutant is affected by the temperature at which the experiment is performed; domi-neg (no): dominant negative activity that the mutant does not counteract the effects of the WT under the control of a p53-responsive element when the two proteins are co-expressed in human or yeast cells; domi-neg (yes): the mutant protein counteract (or has a partial inhibiting effect on) the activity of the WT; lost: the WT functional property is lost by the mutant; gain: functional properties displayed by the mutant is not displayed by the WT protein. The total number of mutations is given by each functional property.
